Summer solstice 108 Sun salutations
Service Description
We welcome you to celebrate the summer solstice with us. We will be running an early morning class where we will complete (or try to) 108 SUN SALUTATIONS☀️ Why? Yogis traditionally do 108 sun salutations on solstices and equinoxes in order to express their gratitude and devotion to the practice. Sun Salutation, or Surya Namaskar, is a way of showing gratitude for our lives, and all that we are blessed with. Namaskar means “to bow to” or “to adore”, in this case, the sun. Why 108? Astronomer, mathematician, and physicist Galileo Galilei made an interesting statement. He said that the universe is written “in mathematical language”. He maintained that the mysteries of creation itself could be solved through numbers and mathematical equations. Mystics of all traditions around the world, found that numbers offered more than scientific insight—they offered a secret language for awakening, a key to our own intuition and higher aspects of our being. Yogis found the number 108 to be such a key. Its yogis choice whether to stay for the full session or just have a few rounds to show your personal gratitude. This session will be led by our lovely @beha.yoga 🌞 and will replace yoga hiit for that day.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds only available if studio has cancelled the class. Please ensure that you can attend the class before you decide to book. Please cancel your class with at least 24 hours notice in order to reschedule. If you need to cancel after this time, in an emergency , please contact Michelle .You are able to reschedule your class yourself up to 12 hours prior to the start of the class. Please note that we do not charge no-show fees like many other studios and so we rely solely on the mutual respect between ourselves and our customers. As tempting as it is to miss a booked class when your plans change, please respect that we still have to run that class. If we have several ‘no-shows’ this not only impacts the morale of instructors but the scheduled planned for that month. Classes with less than 6 students will be cancelled so keep a check on your notifications/emails. However, we do our best to avoid this happening. Thank you 🙏 Please see policies for further details.
